Welcome to the up and coming blog site for our FIRST ever international Women of Purpose project. We are so excited that we about cannot stand it. Several of our Purpose Team members just returned a few months ago from a 10 day journey to Honduras and are now back on home soil ready to prepare to share the things we love most about this place with so many of you.
This will be an avenue we use to share both information needed for people who are wishing to join in the journey stateside, and also an avenue to share information with the missionaries that we will be inviting to join us from here in Honduras. We'll discuss lots of trip stuff and whole lots of Jesus on here as well.
For those of you who may not know, we are planning a trip for the spring of 2010 to Tegucigalpa Honduras. Our prayer is that we might be able to facilitate a team of about 50 women that will travel with us from the States. During the first few days of the week, we will serve our Honduran brothers and sisters in whatever ways the Lord leads us to. We will build a couple of houses (don't worry gals, anyone can build a Honduran house with a hammer and some nails) and we'll play with kiddo's and attempt to be the hands and feet of Christ as we walk alongside them. The week will conclude with a retreat/conference for the English speaking missionaries who are serving in the country. Our heart for this time is to attempt to come alongside them and offer them a time of refreshment and revival.
